What is a prop firm challenge?
A prop firm challenge is an evaluation process where traders demonstrate their skills by meeting specific profit targets while respecting risk management rules. Once you pass, you receive access to a funded trading account.
What is the difference between One Step, Two Step, and Instant Funding?
One Step requires passing a single evaluation phase with a 10% target. Two Step has two phases (8% then 5%) with more lenient drawdown rules. Instant Funding skips evaluation entirely – you start trading a funded account immediately but at a higher entry cost.
What are the drawdown rules?
Drawdown limits protect your account from excessive losses. Daily drawdown is the maximum you can lose in a single day (3% or 5% depending on program). Maximum drawdown is the total loss limit from your highest balance (6% or 10%).
What does daily drawdown mean?
Daily drawdown is calculated based on your account balance at the start of each trading day. If your losses for that day exceed the daily limit, your account enters a soft breach. Managing daily risk is key to staying funded.
Is there a minimum number of trading days?
How often can I withdraw profits?
Payouts are processed either via Daily Payouts or bi-weekly, depending on the plan you choose.
Once you’ve accumulated profits and met the minimum payout requirements, you can request a withdrawal during the payout window.
What is the profit split?
You keep up to 90% of all profits you generate on your funded account. The profit split can scale based on your consistency and performance over time.
Can I trade news or hold positions overnight?
Yes, you can hold trades overnight and during weekends. News trading is allowed but depends on the challenge – please refer to the complete FAQ and the specific challenge rules for more details.
What happens if I break a rule?
If you breach the daily or maximum drawdown limits, your challenge or funded account will be closed. However, you can always restart with a new challenge at a discounted rate.
Is this real money or simulated capital?
All trading is conducted in a simulated environment for evaluation purposes. This means you trade in live market conditions without risking real capital. Profits earned are real and paid out according to our payout schedule.
